The purpose of this project was to design and develop an automatic chicken feeding system that required little to no interference from the farmer. The automatic chicken feeding system comprised of both a feeding and an automatic door system. The idea behind the project was that the farmer could determine the time in which the chicken were fed, the amount that they were fed and at how many intervals in a day. It also aimed at enabling the farmer to determine when the chicken would be let out of their cages and ensured that they were safely locked in after they returned to their cages.
